The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy announce the publication of a new volume containing seven Messages to The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, which appear in several of the shorter writings and in Prose Works.

This compilation of important Messages is now published for the purpose clearly set forth in the Preface to the new volume, as follows:

In the early years of the Christian Science movement, and during the unfoldment of church organization and government under the guiding hand of Mary Baker Eddy, her Messages to The Mother Church were as beacons, lighting the way to the establishment of the Church of Christ, Scientist. They contributed also to the evolution of its government, which is now set forth in our inspired Church Manual.
