I wish to submit the following testimony of my healing in Christian Science with the hope that it may help someone to know that God is a very present help in time of trouble.

Thirteen years ago, after two serious operations, and while I was preparing for the third trip to the hospital, with no encouragement that I could survive another operation, Christian Science was presented to me by a lady who saw my condition and asked why I did not try this Science. She said she was not a Scientist, but had seen wonderful things accomplished through its application. With her assistance I was directed to a practitioner, whose words of encouragement gave me new hope. This was on a Sunday, and the following Wednesday night I attended my first Christian Science service, wearing a heavy bandage for the protection of a tumorous growth. My thought during this service was so uplifted that my physical condition was forgotten, and when I reached home the swelling was gone and I realized I had experienced an instantaneous healing.

Since that first healing, which lifted me from a condition of invalidism, I have never ceased to be grateful to Christian Science. I have also had many other healings, two of which were of erysipelas of the face, in a very serious form, and the overcoming of sorrow at the passing on of loved ones. A thought of lack has been beautifully overcome by this wonderful truth, which has never failed me when honestly and prayerfully applied.
