For about seven weeks I was unable to open one of my eyes. The physician failed to heal the condition, and he also decided that I had Bright's disease. The electric treatment which I was having was very severe and failed to open the eye. Finally, I decided to have Christian Science treatment, since in the past it had healed me of gallstones and appendicitis when material remedies had failed. As I had raised my children in the Jewish faith, they were unwilling for me to have Christian Science without first trying material remedies. When these failed I turned to God in my extremity and He healed me.

I wish to express my gratitude for the Christian Science literature, for the faithful publishers, for the help of a practitioner and the kind friends who encouraged me in what seemed the darkest hour. I pray that this testimony may encourage someone who is in the valley of discouragement to turn to divine Love and be healed, strengthened, and blessed.—
