It is with a deep sense of gratitude for what Christian Science has brought into our home that I write this testimony. We have received many healings, a few of which were of influenza, sinus trouble, and the necessity of wearing glasses. My mother was healed of spurs growing on the joints of her fingers, after being told by three physicians that soon she would completely lose the use of her hands.

All of these healings were wonderful, but I think the one that stands out most was the saving of our baby girl. At the time of her birth she had a brain hemorrhage, which forced her skull to separate. We were told by the physicians that she could live only a few days at the most. The help of a Christian Science practitioner was asked for and lovingly given, with the result that the baby immediately showed signs of improvement. When it became known to the doctors what we were doing, they explained to us that it would be far better for her to pass away immediately, as she would be a hopeless invalid and never have her right mind. At the end of three weeks we took her home and placed her entirely in God's care. When she was six weeks old she was a normal baby.

For all these blessings, and for the loving practitioners who stand ever ready to help us when we are most in need, we are indeed grateful. My prayer is that we may so live as to be a credit to Christian Science and learn to serve God better.
