I have received much help from the reading of testimonies in the Sentinel and Journal and should like at this time to give thanks and express gratitude for healings received through the study and application of Christian Science. My first healing, which took place sixteen years ago, was of tubercular trouble of the lungs, and was brought about by the reading of the Christian Science Sentinel and by attendance at the church services. The healing was complete and permanent.

Also I have had an instantaneous healing of inflammatory rheumatism. This was a never-to-be-forgotten experience. It proved to me that true prayer, as taught in the textbook, does heal. Christian Science has also healed me of sin. I am very grateful for the understanding that this Science has given me of God and of His idea, man. On page 336 of "Miscellaneous Writings" Mrs. Eddy has written, "You cannot demonstrate the Principle of Christian Science and not love its idea." This has helped me to see and love the real man. I also want to give thanks and express gratitude for the Christian Science Reading Room. Thank God for this revelation of His law.
