He that Dwelleth in the Consciousness of Good

He that dwelleth in the consciousness of good
Shall abide beneath the shelter of Love's wings,
Safe, in measureless contentment as he sings
Of Love's sanctuary, and of Love's beatitude.

I will say of the eternal, the All-wise,
Love my refuge is, my God, in whom I trust,
Love, the everlasting Principle, the just,
Love, who sweeps away the refuges of lies.

Love can free thee from the fowler's hidden snare,
Love can guard thee from the noisome pestilence,
Love can shield thee from destruction's violence,
Love can compass thee with angels anywhere!
