Over twenty years ago I was led to take up the study of Christian Science through the healing of a friend's little daughter. Since that time I have had healings of many difficulties, among them being periodic and severe sick headaches, constipation, grippe, the tendency to have several severe colds each winter, also a very lame back, neuritis, and several ailments of which I do not even know the names. Some of the healings were realized through the study of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, together with the Bible, and some of them with the additional help of a practitioner.

I have often been protected from accidents, and especially was wonderfully protected while serving with the American Expeditionary Forces in France in 1918.

I am very grateful to God for Christ Jesus, and for our dear Leader, also for the many activities of the Christian Science movement. I am thankful for our periodicals, for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, for the privilege of serving as usher in a branch church, and in other church activities. This testimony would not be complete without the mention of the acquiring and holding of a good position during the past few years, when to human sense it often seemed to be impossible.
