Over ten years ago I had a nervous breakdown after the passing on of my husband. Christian Science was introduced to me then, but I could not see that it could help me, as I felt that I could not leave my church, which I dearly loved.

About three years ago I had another nervous breakdown through very serious trouble. After I had tried material means, the doctor advised me to go to a private home, as it was not safe to leave me day or night. My sister then persuaded me to try Christian Science. After I had received help from a practitioner for a short time, she thought it advisable for me to go to a Christian Science [Nursing] House. I did so; and after two days there it was recommended that I have a practitioner who would be able to see me every day. I shall never forget her first visit to me. Her loving thoughts and her spiritual understanding gave me fresh hope; and after staying at the House for a month, I was healed. I am very grateful for all the love and care I received whilst there.

It is needless to say how grateful I am for all the loving help of unselfish practitioners and kind friends; for Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, who proved to us that God is All-in-all, and for our dear Leader.—(Mrs.) Louisa Crosland, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England.
