"We shall not solve our remaining problems until we are willing to express gratitude for the good we have already received." The above sentence, read in a Christian Science Sentinel, caused me to search my consciousness; and I found that I had been waiting for some big, unusual demonstration, before publicly expressing my gratitude for the peace and progress which Christian Science has brought into my life.

I have been healed in one day of influenza. I telephoned to a practitioner early one morning and was able to go to a dinner party by six-thirty. I was very grateful for this healing, which proved that the truth does indeed make free. I have also been healed of rheumatism of six months' standing, and of a skin disease called scabies, which was healed in two weeks. Lack has been overcome by realizing the all-sufficiency of good. It is, however, for the overcoming of faults of character that I am most thankful; discontent, bitterness, and resentment being the precursors of many bodily ailments, as I have proved.

My heart overflows with gratitude to our Leader, whose great revelation has again set us on the path of pure Christianity and healing. It is a joy to add my voice to the pæan of praise which is rising from the hearts of all students who love and practice Christian Science. I am grateful for the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, for the literature, and especially for all of Mrs. Eddy's works, which have opened up that great treasure house, the Bible; for class instruction, and to the practitioner who helped me.—(Miss) Olive Mary Lees, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
