Our Secret Fortress

No barrier is there of race or creed,
All, freely, we may go
And find of good, to meet the heart's deep need,
A glorious overflow.
Yea, whosoever will may enter there,
Surcease receive of blighting, cruel care;
And neither night nor day shall fear beset,
Nor ill betide us, if we humbly let
God's holy thoughts and inspirations rare,
Our angel guardians, guide
And bear us ever on bright paths above,
To heights serene of Truth unchanging, where,
In glowing consciousness of Spirit, Love-
Enfolded, we abide;
Our fortress, sure, impregnable,
Our joy and peace ineffable.
