Gratitude
SING
to God a song of gladness!
Hymns of praise and cheer
Banish error-thoughts and sadness,
Cast out thoughts of fear.
God it is who keeps us, guides us,
Showing us the way
Onward, upward to completeness,
To the perfect day.
Praise our God with joyful singing,
Hymns of love and peace,
Keep the gladsome anthems ringing;
Let all yearnings cease.
Love it is that says to error:
I AM—I am All;
Thou art nothing but illusion,
Thy false boasts shall fall.
God is good, and He sustains us
On the battlefield,
Where strong faith is wrestling error,
Which to Truth must yield;
God is Love, and He is power;
Evil has no place.
Sing to God with songs triumphant—
God, who fills all space!
