Christian Science is a religion based on the understanding and practice of the teachings of Christ Jesus, as recorded in the Bible, and is applicable today to all human problems. Its benefits are being experienced by large numbers of highly respected citizens here in San Francisco as well as throughout the state of California, and, in fact, throughout the civilized world.

Christian Science, discovered and founded by a New England gentlewoman, Mary Baker Eddy, is teaching mankind to experience the healing effect of God's infinite love through practicing genuine love in human affairs. On this basis it has come, in less than seventy years, to occupy an impressive place among the useful religions of the world, with a large number of churches and societies, and a great many thousands of followers, among whom are persons who testify to having been healed of all manner of diseases and of having gained release from sin.
