It
would seem that mankind today is in bondage to the almost universal belief that business is sick.
Loneliness
is the result of regarding a world which seems unfriendly and indifferent from the standpoint of human selfhood.
Those
unacquainted with Christian Science sometimes pick up its textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and after reading it through, or in part, remark that they can make nothing of it.
The
problem of supply is one which at the present time is foremost in the thought of many.
Those
who unite with the Church of Christ, Scientist, have the great privilege of taking part in its activities.
In
a period of general disturbance and strife, advocates of various systems offer their several ideas to mankind with the intent to prove that upon the application of these methods or ideas the world would be benefited.
None
are shut in and none shut out from Love;For hearts enriched by love must overflow—No walls bound right desire—it soars above.
Christian Science is a religion based on the understanding and practice of the teachings of Christ Jesus, as recorded in the Bible, and is applicable today to all human problems.
Your correspondent, "Puzzled," in making some friendly references to Christian Science, states that "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, "if correct, displaces the teachings of the Old Bible.
My attention has been called to an article reprinted in your columns from the Mullins Advocate relating to House Bill No.
A writer in your "What Others Think" column made a reference to Christian Science which needs amplification.

It has been my privilege to enjoy and prove the healing efficacy of Christian Science, and I deem it my duty to add my testimony to the many already given, which I have enjoyed reading.
