It is a joy and privilege to share with others the blessings that have come to my home through the study of Christian Science. For several years I suffered from nervous weakness, fainting attacks, loss of memory, and much fear and self-pity. I had been left a widow with two young children, and had been obliged to give up my little business because of my ill health. When I first read our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was afraid it was too good to be true. I hardly dared hope for healing, I was so weary and discouraged. I began attending Christian Science services and was given much loving encouragement by those I met there. Gradually something of the truth of being dawned on me. I saw that if I was to receive, I must be willing to give, and also that I had much to learn. Soon a testing time came. My boy had a severe toothache and I tried to use the little understanding I had gained. In less than half an hour he was healed and said how happy he felt. What a joy it was to know by absolute proof that God is with us and had never sent the illness, pain, and weariness! My own healing was slow, but I knew I had found the truth, and I pressed on to gain more love and understanding. The attacks became less and less frequent and finally were entirely healed.

Truly Christian Science has brought to our home many blessings. In the words of Isaiah, it has exchanged for us "the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." May our lives attest our gratitude.—(Mrs.) Hilda A. Davies, Castleford, Yorkshire, England.
