As an expression of gratitude for many blessings received through the study and application of Christian Science, I hereby add my testimony. The Christian Science Journal was the channel through which our family was introduced to this beautiful truth. By the reading of this periodical my mother was quickly healed of impaired eyesight and other physical disorders. When the truth in the light of Christian Science was revealed to my father he was freed from the necessity of practicing a branch of materia medica. From that time forth progressive steps have been taken.

I am increasingly grateful for having had the privilege of being a student in the Christian Science Sunday School, where I received my first lessons about God and man's relationship to Him. Through consecrated metaphysical work, and without the aid of a practitioner, a severe case of foot infection was healed within a period of two days. I realized that a great sense of fear had to be overcome before a right solution of the problem would present itself. Work was earnestly done with the thought that matter has no intelligence with which to dictate terms, and that a child of God is governed by the one infinite Mind. A severe burn on the arm was healed in a very short time, without the semblance of a scar, through my realization that God's creation is complete and perfect, and that His children cannot be touched by anything unlike good, God.

Christian Science was indeed my salvation at the time of the passing on of my dear mother. Freedom from a sense of separation was quickly realized through the understanding of man's oneness with the Father, and of man as "never born and never dying" (Science and Health, p. 258).
