Liberty

When earth-born shadows fade away
And good alone I see—
God's will is mine, and I obey
The truth that makes men free:

Free as the summer bird that sings
When in its upward flight,
Soaring aloft on joyful wings
To greet the morning light.

This perfect state of liberty
Is here, and now; I find
Sweet peace and heavenly harmony,
God's gift to all mankind.
