WHAT
more beautiful sight greeted the eye in the days fast receding than a ship with sails full set standing out to sea! The graceful lines and poise of the ship seemed to blend with the beauty of the scene to form a harmonious whole.
In your issue of March 19, an article mistakenly implied that Christian Science is "an offshoot of mesmerism.
Through your courtesy I wish to correct some of the misrepresentations made in a recently published sermon.
In a recent address which was delivered in your city on the subject "Affirmation," a speaker coupled Christian Science with human philosophies in such a manner as to leave a confused impression of what Christian Science really does teach.

The
much-trenched Norway Street is now receiving perhaps its final trenching in connection with the building of the new Publishing House; it is being prepared to receive the new steam line connecting with the Edison Company's main line from their Kneeland Street plant; also the new conduit for electrical current to the substation located in the basement of the new Publishing House, where the hightension voltage of 13,800 will be reduced to usable voltage.

I consider it a great privilege to be able to testify to the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science.
For a number of years before coming into Christian Science my health had been failing.

When I first heard of Christian Science I bought the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and thought it was very beautiful, but was unable to put it to practical use.
