In the spring of 1929 it seemed necessary for me to have the help of a practitioner in destroying pyorrhea. The fear was great, as other members of my family had experienced this same difficulty. The work was taken up very lovingly, and much of error was removed from my consciousness, which helped me to see more clearly than ever before that all discord is in mortal mind, not in matter or in the divine Mind, as our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, points out in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Discouragement tried to enter thought when the tooth in question dropped out. But imagine my gratitude and joy for the proof of the healing power of Truth over error when, some months later, while in a dentist's office, an X-ray picture revealed not only that the condition was healed, but that a new tooth was completely formed in the gum and exposed through the opening which had been left by the other tooth!

I am very grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church; for the privilege of teaching in the Sunday school; and for the literature, which carries a healing message to all who read it.
