In regard to an item concerning Christian Science which appeared in your issue of July 31, please let me state that more than sixty years have elapsed since Mary Baker Eddy discovered Christian Science and presented her discovery to humanity. During this period many Christian men and women have studied and accepted Mrs. Eddy's teachings, and have utilized these teachings to bring to themselves and to others relief from sorrow, from sickness, and from sin.

The Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, unlocks the inspired teachings of the Bible and opens the way for healing by the spiritually mental method taught and practiced by the Master, who said, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also."

The blessings are manifold that have come to mankind from Christian Science; and may not Christian Scientists reasonably ask that their religion be judged by the standard established by Christ Jesus, "Ye shall know them by their fruits"?
