words, "Follow me," spoken to Simon Peter and Andrew, and his similar call to James and John, strengthened their awakening recognition of the Christ, Truth, which he reflected; and they immediately gave up their business as fishermen and followed him.
When
we are asked to render some service to another, perhaps to go on an errand or to perform some little duty in the household, how frequently there seems to arise a disinclination to do the thing immediately! Something seems to whisper that half an hour or an hour hence, or perhaps even tomorrow, would do just as well, and that it would be much more easily done if we could put it off a little while.

Comments by a well-known religionist, reported in your issue of January 13, may have given your readers misleading impressions regarding Mary Baker Eddy and Christian Science, and I should appreciate an opportunity to say something in defense of the facts.

In a spirit of gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me I wish to write this testimony of a healing of gallstones, from which I had suffered for fifteen years.
One frequently hears the statement among those unfamiliar with the teachings of Christian Science that Science may be all right for nervous disorders and that sort of thing, but not for organic disease or conditions requiring surgery.
As I realize more fully each day what Christian Science means to me, I wish to tell a few of the innumerable blessings that have come to our family through this truth.
