The Angel Song

In Luke's record of the birth of Jesus we find the well-known message to humanity, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."

Again and again through the centuries humanity has recalled this glorious angel song. It has been accepted as a message of hope, of love, and of joy; yet our age is the first measurably to lay hold on its practical significance. The teaching of Christian Science, of Christianity spiritually understood, enables us to see the way which leads to the realization of this glad message in human experience.

Our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, discovered the Science of Christianity through her reception of divine revelation. Through her prayerful research the divine cause, the fount of all being and action, was found to be Principle, God. This is why she was enabled with unerring logic to draw the scientific conclusions laid down in her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." This work indeed has become for humanity a guide and a "key" to the Scriptures. How rich and significant is this heavenly message of angels when we view it in the light of Christian Science!
