Permit me to make a correction of assertions in an article...

Washington Times

Permit me to make a correction of assertions in an article in which you classify Christian Science practitioners as "fake healers." Allow me to say that Christian Science is practiced legally in the District of Columbia; therefore its practitioners are very improperly called "fake healers."

In this day and age, with the acknowledged benefits received by many through the beneficent administrations of Christian Science, it is somewhat startling and unusual to have the name of Christian Science practitioners so arraigned. Such a headline over the article was improperly used, as nowhere in the release of the article by the Committee on the Costs of Medical Care was the word "fake" used, nor could it be so interpreted by any stretch of imagination.
