More than twelve years ago Christian Science was presented to me because I was discouraged and suffering and greatly in need of this healing truth. A severe case of Bright's disease was quickly and permanently healed. At the same time a member of my immediate family was healed of a serious heart trouble of year's standing. In gratitude for this truth that had lifted me from a sick, discouraged, and suffering condition to health, joy, and happiness, I turned with all my heart to the study of Christian Science. It would be impossible for me to express in words the great amount of good I have received. Christian Science has indeed been to me the light of my life.

I have since been healed of rheumatism, appendicitis, colds, sore throat, and many other ills. Christian Science has healed me in sickness, comforted me in sorrow, and supplied my every need; it has taught me to be kind, considerate, patient, and loving to my fellow man.

I am deeply greateful for all of the Christian Science activities; for the helpful, uplifting, healing periodicals; also for the wisdom and love expressed by the Board of Directors of The Mother Church; for the patience and love of our practitioners; and to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for her unselfish devotion in giving us "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," the Manual of The Mother Church, and her other writings. I am also grateful for class instruction and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. I pray that I may prove my gratitude by daily living and serving the Cause of Christian Science.
