Lecturer: Charles V. Winn; introduced by Miss Edith Lamar Burch, who said:—

Centuries ago the prophet Isaiah voiced the universal call of Truth when he said, "Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters." Christian Science is reechoing this appeal in our age, reechoing that God's help is available to all who are longing for it, and demonstrating that it does purify from both sin and sickness. This was proved to me many years ago when my family had been told that there was no hope of my recovery from a severe affection of the lungs. We were told of Christian Science, and through its teaching of God's ever present help I was completely and permanently healed. With the physical healing came the beginning of spiritual thinking, and some knowledge of what it means in the Scripture when it says that "God created man in his own image."
