Love Never Fails
DID
Jesus ask the palsied man if he were fit for prayer,
When at the pool of Bethesda he saw him lying there?
Did he ignore the man's desire for health and happiness,
Or think mayhap some stubbornness made him unfit to bless?
No! Jesus, Christly king of love, beheld the perfect one;
The light of Truth shone clear to him upon his Father's son.
Not all the error in the world, nor sin in Satan's hell,
Could stem the flowing tide of love that made that sick man well.
