I turned to Christian Science for help in a business problem. My parents had invested money in a property which at the time was thought to be a good investment, but turned out otherwise. They had tried to sell the property, but there seemed to be no demand for it. The revenue coming in was insufficient to meet the expenses, and it looked as if we should lose the property. I asked a Christian Science practitioner for help; and in a very short time someone came along who liked the place, took a lease of it for a number of years, and finally decided to purchase it. Conditions went on satisfactorily for a while, but when the time came for payments to be made the person did not meet them. We were lenient at first and did not press, but our lawyer told us we should have to foreclose. He was told to do what he thought best. However, we asked for more help on the problem, and before proceedings had gone farther the party gave us a very substantial payment.

My mother has received a great deal of help through the study of Christian Science. Four years ago a great sense of weakness took hold of her, but this was overcome through the help of a practitioner. The effects of a fall were also quickly overcome.

I have been healed of many physical difficulties, including lumbago, boils, abscesses in a very severe form, felon on the finger, and blood poisoning in the foot; and colds, to which I had been subject for years, have almost entirely disappeared.
