"Behold the height of the stars!"

How good to know that in the lucent height
And splendor of His presence we remain
One with that beauty of supernal light
Inviolate, where darkness, sin, and pain
Like clouds before the dawn of day disperse —
One with the God-created universe,

Reflecting light; one with that harmony
Pulsating from the very heart of Love,
Singing as stars of morning must, in key
With joy's own self, the vibrant hymn thereof;
High, not aloof, but glowing, made to shine
That men may see our light, and know it Thine!
