Through the study and application of Christian Science...

Through the study and application of Christian Science I have been healed of many unlovely traits of character, such as jealousy, hatred, and revenge; also of fear and sensitiveness, as well as many other ills, mental and physical. My little boy was healed of two very severe maladies, whooping cough and gatherings in his ears. I have been healed of extreme nervousness. My mother-in-law was healed of eczema in its worst form, of many years' standing, when she was past sixty years of age.

These are only a few of the healings which we have had in our family, and for which I am most grateful; but far greater is my gratitude for the knowledge I have gained that Christian Science is practical, as I have proved it for twenty years and not found it wanting. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for the privilege of serving in church activities. My gratitude goes out to Christ Jesus and to Mary Baker Eddy, the Founder and Leader of this great movement.
