Christian Scientists
are everywhere rejoicing in the beauty and dignity of the church services which their Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, has so wisely planned for them.
Christian Scientists
are grateful for the privilege of giving testimonies relative to the healing and protecting efficacy of prayer as taught in Christian Science.
The
Bible story of Nehemiah and his victory over the enemies of the Jews is very helpful and inspiring.
In
these busy days one often hears expressed the wish for more time—more time to read the newspaper, to study, to play, or to meet the demands of home and business.
A student
of Christian Science who was troubled and longed earnestly for inspiration and encouragement, found in an art gallery an object lesson which seemed to her like an answer to prayer.
Giving
thanks for blessings brought,Thus the Truth-awakened thoughtOpens wide the proven doorTo the Father's bounteous store.
It is interesting, as well as pleasing, to observe that an ever increasing number of thinking people are taking notice of and commenting favorably on the teaching of Christian Science.

In the following statement, "Religion had degenerated, and fantastic types of belief, such as spiritualism, Christian Science, and magical sacramentalism, had gained new vitality," contained in the article "Messages from Other World," published in your issue of August 16, a bishop is, if correctly reported, drawing on his imagination in so far as Christian Science is concerned.
I shall feel obliged for space in which to reply to the criticisms leveled at Christian Science during the Convocation at Canterbury, as reported in the Newcastle Journal of the 23d instant.

I am writing this testimony to express gratitude for many healings which we have had in our family of three through the application of Christian Science, but especially for one of paralysis which took place in our home in the summer of 1927.
It is with a heart full of gratitude to Christian Science and to its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, that this testimony is given.
