I am indeed very grateful for Christian Science
I am indeed very grateful for Christian Science. When I think of all the aches and pains, fears and worries, that just fell away from me during the first few weeks I was studying this beautiful truth, I am filled with love and gratitude to God.
I should like to tell of an instantaneous healing of severe indigestion. I had been unable to eat even an orange without trouble, and had been ordered by the doctor to eat only a very light meal at night. One Wednesday evening I came home to find a cooked dinner already on the table, and I said to the family, "I am going to eat a good meal to-night and trust Christian Science to keep me well." Since that time I have eaten anything I wanted without any trouble, and have been thankful. This same evening I attended my first Christian Science testimony meeting. In less than a week from that time, with the help of a practitioner, I was healed of rupture, and was able to discard a truss I had worn night and day for eighteen months. This demonstration was beautiful to me, as I thought I must always wear a support, or submit to an operation of which I had a great dread. My daughter has been healed of severe colds which would keep her in bed days at a time several times each winter.
For the continued good health I enjoy I am deeply grateful. This is just a little of the good that has come to me. Christian Science has met my every need for several years.
