As I think of all the joy which has come into my life...

As I think of all the joy which has come into my life through Christian Science and try to decide which of the many blessings I am most grateful for, I realize that the greatest gift of all is the understanding one gains of God and of man as His image and likeness. When I first started to study the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and glimpsed something of God, I saw that anything which claimed good from any other source was an idol, promising pleasure but yielding pain; and as I have honestly striven to turn to God and away from idols, happiness, health, and success have come to me.

Of the many physical healings which I have experienced through the ministrations of Christian Science, the overcoming of the following complaints is remembered as being particularly helpful: constipation, bilious attacks, chronic sore throats, toothache, rheumatism, and seasickness. I have also been healed of grief and of many faults of character; the habits of destructive criticism and self-condemnation are disappearing as I see more clearly that it is man's nature to reflect Love.

My gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, and to Mrs. Eddy increases daily; and I should also like to say how very grateful I am for class instruction, and for all the loyal Christian Scientists whose loving lives have pointed the way and helped me to walk therein.—(Mrs.) Margaret Scott Finn, New Barnet, Hertfordshire, England.
