When I visited a Christian Science Wednesday evening testimony meeting for the first time, I had been for two years almost completely deaf in my left ear. Two doctors, one of them a specialist, could offer me only temporary help. I now bear witness to the fact that after attending the Wednesday evening testimony meetings a number of times, I suddenly found that I could hear again with the left ear. That was at the end of 1922, and since then my hearing has been uniformly good.

A second healing, of erysipelas, was brought about with the help of a Christian Science practitioner, although the sickness lasted several weeks, as the doctor had predicted in the first attack. In March, 1923, I had a severe illness, complicated with fever and sick headaches. My sister asked a practitioner to work for me, with the result that in a few days I was entirely healed; and since then the trouble has never reappeared.

I thank God with my whole heart for His help. I am also grateful to the practitioner. In reverence and gratitude I think of Mary Baker Eddy, who brought us this blessed Science. Glory be to God for His goodness!
