Last week this office received a letter from Oscar Graham Peeke, which we gladly publish, and which is in defense of the Christian Science religion and society of this city. It has been the policy of this paper not to publish anything that would stir up animosity between any of the churches of Brookfield, for it is our opinion that all of them are doing a great and good work for Brookfield and community, and there are so many good things that can be said about anyone's religion that it does not behoove us or anyone else to make unkind remarks about any religion, whatever that may be.
