A Prayer

Oh , give me understanding, Lord,
That I may go
To those who have not heard Thy name,
That they may know.

Oh, give me gentleness, I pray,
That I may give
The bread of Life to hungry ones,
That they may live.

Let Thy great, wondrous tenderness
Fill all my heart,
So that the healing Word of Truth
I may impart.
