With deep gratitude I testify to the benefits I have received through Christian Science. For about eight years I was in a bad condition, the doctors claiming I had cancer of the stomach and could live only about six weeks. A dear friend said to me, "Come, take up Christian Science and be healed." But I was so weak and so discouraged I thought I could not be well again. However, I went to a practitioner, who was loving and faithful and patient, and encouraged me again and again. To-day I am well and happy, and able to do all my work, although past "threescore years and ten."

For this physical healing I am indeed grateful to our loving Father-Mother God; to our Way-shower, Christ Jesus; to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy; and to the loving practitioner, who worked so faithfully, supporting and cheering me with her kind words.
