To those of us who have experienced direct benefits from the application of Christian Science to all problems, whether physical, financial, or mental there is a great sense of gratitude for the life-work of Mary Baker Eddy.

Christian Science found me in the direst thought of poverty, a young girl of sixteen years with no idea of how to work at anything, with the need of wearing glasses, hardly able to eat because of indigestion, not wanted by anyone, and with a great longing to die. I became interested in Christian Science upon the reading of the first chapter in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and from that day on Christian Science has met my every problem. I do not wear glasses now.

I have had instantaneous healings of abscesses. Three times influenza has been healed, and also numerous other illnesses. My household is run with the one thought of equality—that each one has his work to do just as I have mine, that we are all working for one thing, harmony. Total blindness was healed in a little dog of mine.
