It is with joy that I give this testimony of the wonderful healing power of Christian Science. I have enjoyed many healings since I became interested in the study of this Science, but the one which stands out particularly is that of a very serious case of blood poisoning in one of my feet. Owing to fear and lack of understanding my mother called in a doctor, who refused to give up the case for several months. Much concern was caused during those months, but I tried to hold on to the truth the best way I could, and to trust that I would be led out of the darkness of material thoughts and methods.

After two operations had been performed, without improvement, I was told that another would be necessary to save my foot, if worse did not happen. I was also told that I would never walk again if an operation was not performed; but I refused, and decided that the battle was God's, not mine. From that day there was a great change in the foot, and I walked a distance without the aid of crutches just a few days after I had been told that I would never walk again unless the foot was operated upon. For this and many other healings I am very grateful, also for the kind assistance of other Christian Scientists.
