Many years ago I was healed of inflammatory rheumatism which had paralyzed the joints of my body. Medical aid had failed to relieve the suffering and the condition grew worse. I therefore turned to Christian Science, and through the faithful work of a practitioner I was healed. At another time smallpox tried to manifest itself upon my body, but through the work of the same loving practitioner it disappeared into its native nothingness. I have also been healed of sick headaches; and the need of wearing glasses was overcome at a Wednesday evening testimony meeting.

As I learn more of this wonderful truth I am most thankful that I am overcoming a hasty temper and the habit of criticizing unjustly. Mrs. Eddy's words on page 471 of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," "Man is, and forever has been, God's reflection," have been a great help in the overcoming of these false traits of character.

For all the authorized literature I am indeed thankful, and for the testimonies printed therein. I am grateful to God, the Giver of all good, and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy; grateful, also, for what Christian Science is doing for the whole world.
