Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication for the Year Ended September 30, 1929

District of Columbia.

In reviewing the work of this office for the past year we have cause for rejoicing over the continued growth of Christian Science throughout the world and in this field, as well as deep gratitude for the loving support and splendid cooperation of the members of the four churches.

Your committee is pleased to report continued friendly relations with the press. Two hundred and seventy-nine news items appeared in the local papers, which have been informative and reliable. Twenty articles from The Christian Science Monitor have been printed in whole or in part, due credit being given in each case. Only two inaccurate references appeared during the year; corrections were offered but were not printed, although assurance was given that they would be.
