I should like to express my gratitude for the many wonderful healings and experiences I have had since becoming interested in Christian Science. One healing for which I have been deeply grateful took place over eight years ago. I took to my bed quite suddenly, and a practitioner was called; but because of the fear held by the family, a physician was also called, and he pronounced the ailment pleural pneumonia. After a talk with the practitioner, the physician was dismissed, and the difficulty was worked out through Christian Science. My healing was wonderful, for not only was I healed but a sister became interested in Christian Science through this healing. She had been ill for a long time, and when I seemed so low she would say to the practitioner, "What can I do to help her? I feel I must do something." The practitioner gave her passages from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy to read, and in doing this she became interested and was healed.

We both have enjoyed ever since the study and fruitage of Christian Science which has brought us many blessings. I am very thankful to God and grateful to Mrs. Eddy and to all those who have helped me to gain my freedom and a better understanding of God and man.
