Through the aid of a loving practitioner Christian Science first healed me of a cough which I had had for about one month. This was an instantaneous healing. Next followed the healing of grippe and an ulcerated throat.

In 1908 I was healed of astigmatism, having worn glasses for over nine years. I was told by an oculist that I would always have to wear them. I was healed in four weeks' treatment. I have also been healed of poisoned arms and of what had every appearance of severe bronchitis. When I was healed of this trouble a sincere desire to be an active Christian Scientist came to me and resulted in church membership. A cankerous mouth, colds, and sore throat have been healed through the application of the truth as taught in Christian Science.

My sister was healed of nose bleeding. She had had this trouble from childhood. It would occur at almost any time of the day or night, and was very annoying. A summer spent in the mountains at a high altitude seemed to aggravate the condition, and I wrote for help to a practitioner about fifteen hundred miles away and my sister was healed at once, thus proving that altitude or climate had really nothing to do with it. Once more the power of God was proved to be ever present. Christian Science is healing me of resentment and hate. It is clearing away the mist, and I am better able to see the nothingness of the dream of mortal existence. I have a clearer perception of true spiritual existence.
