Lecturer: Dr. Hendrik J. de Lange; introduced by Erling Ansteensen, who said:—

When I first took up the study of Christian Science, a good few years ago now, my experience was similar to that of many others. For in reading the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, I soon became convinced that this was the revelation of the truth as taught and exemplified by our Master and Way-shower, Christ Jesus. You will remember that when our Master was arraigned before Pilate he uttered these remarkable words: "To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth;" and he also once said: "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
