For more than thirteen years Christian Science has been such a transforming power in my life that it would not be possible to tell more than a tithe of the great blessings it has brought me.

When Christian Science found me I was ill and weak, much troubled and perplexed, intensely weary of life, and longing for certainty of belief and faith. At times I feared that I might lose my faith in God. This fear caused me much suffering. At this time it seemed to me that it was almost useless to pray except for more light and understanding. I was conscious that this was my greatest need, and daily I prayed for light. Christian Science came as a clear and direct answer to my prayer. When a succession of events seemed to bring me almost to despair, within a few days the textbook of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was given to me by a dear friend. When I read this book I knew that it contained the truth, and that my future work was to prove this. I soon grew much stronger, and now lead an active, normal life.

Internal weakness, for which a doctor suggested an operation, has been overcome through the power of Truth alone. In the training of my daughter, Christian Science has been a tower of strength, and gratefully I can say that she has been an unusually healthy child. This I know we owe to Christian Science.
