I wish to express my deep gratitude for all that Christian Science...
I wish to express my deep gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me and mine. Recently I formed a new company, wherein I had many obstacles to overcome. Before so doing I communicated with a practitioner, and so far the results in a business way have been far beyond my expectations.
I am also very grateful for the following demonstration. On my return from a trip I found my son, who was four years old, very ill. My wife's mother prevailed upon her to call a doctor, and when I came home I found the doctor had diagnosed our little boy's case as influenza of the bowels. He was not eating anything, nor drinking anything but water, and this had been going on for four days. The doctor said that he was a very sick boy. Upon my arrival home, seeing his condition, I telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner immediately. That night the child slept for the first time in five nights. I telephoned the practitioner again in the morning, telling her of this, and the same morning at ten o'clock he asked for food. He asked for additional food at noon, and again at four o'clock; and that evening he wanted to get up and get dressed, which we let him do. The next day although it was five degrees below zero where we were, the boy and I went out and played in the snow for an hour. I am writing this to show how grateful my wife and I are for this remarkable demonstration of the truth.
