From the Directors

The accumulated experience of mankind has shown repeatedly that no credence should be given to anonymous communications. Now and then, however, inquiries may indicate that a warning on this subject is required. In a recent instance, investigation has disclosed that anonymous circulars sent to a considerable number of practitioners and teachers in Canada and in the northern parts of the United States, purporting to be from a committee or group, are misleading as to their contents, and would appear to be the work of a single person.

The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, Massachusetts, announces a free public lecture on Christian Science by Professor Hermann S. Hering, C.S.B., a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship, in the Church Edifice, Falmouth, Norway, and St. Paul Streets, Back Bay, Thursday evening, March 27, 1930, at eight o'clock. The original edifice of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, will be open to accommodate those who may not find seats in the main auditorium. The transmitting system installed between these auditoriums enables a speaker to be heard in both of them almost equally well. The public is cordially invited.
