On page 503 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mary Baker Eddy writes, "Divine Science, the Word of God, saith to the darkness upon the face of error, 'God is All-in-all,' and the light of ever-present Love illumines the universe." I am so grateful that this light has shone on my pathway, for I was groping in the darkness as far as religion was concerned. Only those who have had a similar experience can appreciate how I felt when Christian Science was presented to me and I realized that I had at last found a practical, demonstrable religion which answered all my queries.

One of the first healings I had which stands out conspicuously was of tonsillitis. I had been subject to this malady, and was experiencing a severe attack, under very uncomfortable circumstances. I was not in my own home, and was the only Scientist in the house. I was almost too sick to think for myself, and a doctor was sent to see me. I finally managed to get in touch with a Christian Science practitioner, and the help came so quickly that I was able to be out the next day.

I have had so much help that I sometimes think it would be impossible to be grateful enough for this wonderful Science, which is always able to help us work out our problems.
