Some time ago, while riding, I met with a severe accident

Some time ago, while riding, I met with a severe accident. I had lost control of my horse, which, while galloping very rapidly, collided with a friend's horse. I was thrown, and was picked up unconscious. A Christian Science practitioner was telephoned to, and took up work for me immediately. After reaching home, where I was taken in a car, I became conscious. My head was swollen, also one side of my face, and my shoulders were most painful. I am grateful to say, however, not one of my bones was broken and I was able to be up in less than a week. For this healing I am exceedingly grateful.

I should also like to express my gratitude for the healing of pneumonia. As I was at boarding school at the time, a doctor was called, and he pronounced me very seriously ill. My mother obtained Christian Science help for me, and in a very short time I was healed.

For the help Christian Science is in my school work, for the Christian Science Sunday School, for Mrs. Eddy, who has given us this Science, and for the practitioner who has so lovingly helped me whenever I have needed it, I am more grateful than words can express.
