After many wonderful healings in our family through Christian Science, I feel it my duty and privilege to express my thanksgiving and joy. The great change that has taken place in our thinking, and our better understanding of the Bible and of what it teaches about God, mean more to us than the healing of physical troubles.

When first we became interested in Christian Science we called a practitioner each time error of any sort manifested itself. We always received the help, sometimes instantaneously and at other times more slowly; but each healing seemed wonderful to us. We found that the escape from suffering was not the only thing needful; we began to love to study the truth contained in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and the more we strove to do so, the clearer the Bible became to us and the better our health. The study of the Lesson-Sermon each day is a wonderful help to us, replacing discord of every kind with harmony. Then, too, it makes our daily tasks more easily performed and much more satisfactory. Whereas once discouragement, sorrow, and pain formed a heavy burden for me to bear, now I enjoy progress, happiness, and strength.

A member of our family at the age of four years was unable to walk, stand, or feed herself. Through the loving, patient work of a practitioner, she was perfectly healed, and now enjoys excellent health, and is able to walk as well as anyone and to take care of herself.
