I consider it a great privilege to be able to testify to the healing power of Christian Science. From the time I was a small child I was considered sickly, and cannot remember ever being well during the years I attended school. I suffered from many physical ailments and experienced many kinds of treatments, but finally decided there was nothing more I could do. About this time I realized that a member of my family was greatly in need of help, and having heard of Christian Science I decided to get "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and try to help this dear one. Before I had finished reading the book I myself was enjoying good health. About a year later a great sorrow resulted in my going to a Christian Science practitioner; and to her I owe great gratitude, as she helped me to cling to Science when it seemed as though I must give up.

After I came to my present location an inharmonious condition resulted in my becoming deaf. After several days I sought a practitioner, and at the Reading Room I was directed to the only one in town. I called on her, but for some reason I did not tell her of my trouble or ask for treatment. However, I was so helped by our short conversation that when I reached home I was healed; and my hearing has been perfect ever since. I afterward returned to her and was healed of an internal trouble that had defied all treatment for years.

At one time, after having some dental work done, I seemed unable to help myself and called on a practitioner. Much help was received, and I was relieved of depression from which I had suffered at intervals practically all my life.
