Among the Churches

Current Notes

Elkhorn Independent

Elkhorn, Wisconsin (Society).—The new Christian Science church now under construction on North Broad Street will be forty-four by forty-five feet, of frame and brick construction, with a seating capacity of one hundred and thirty. Some of the newest ideas in church construction are embodied in the edifice. At the left of the entrance is a foyer with an opening to the main auditorium. The auditorium will be twenty-four by thirty-three feet, and in the south wing will be the Reading Room and Readers' study in addition to the lavatories. The structure will be located at the back of the lot, which is eighty by one hundred and forty feet, and will be framed by a number of trees at the rear and sides.—Elkhorn Independent.
